SOME OF OUR FAVOURITE BEACHES in LEFKADA

8km (steep road!) 20 min drive

One of our secret favourites for Coffee or simple breakfast – arrive around 9.30 as parking limited.   Not recommended for afternoons - too many people and very small beach.

10 km – 16 minutes drive – small port at the bottom of Lefkada. Some cute shops and ok for a simple lunch on the waterfront. Also a windsurfing/kite surfing mecca.

Porto Katsiki

23km – 40 mins

Porto Katsiki is a spectacular, cliff-backed beach- voted in the top 50 beaches of the world.   Famous for its dramatic limestone cliffs and vibrant turquoise waters, it is accessed by descending roughly 100 steep steps

26km - 40 min

A remote, breathtaking stretch of coastline on the southwestern coast famed for its towering white cliffs and striking turquoise waters. Accessible by a steep descent of over 350 steps - tough on the way back!

29 km - 50 mins

We love this beach - its a massive, uncrowded expanse of coarse sand and white pebbles. Famous for its striking "milky blue" water.  Less touristy alternative to neighboring Porto Katsiki and Egremni.

30 km - 50 mins

We love this beach - but get there early for parking.  Really good fun bobbing around the waves and around the rocks.

Probably Lefkada's most popular beach - and for good reason - waves, beach bars and amazing colours of water.  Get there before 11am as parking can be a pain.  Recommended beach bar - Copla and great restaurant is called Monato
